In between commitments as Jimmy Fallon’s house band, The Roots manage to squeeze out album # 11, How I Got Over.
The list of guests/samples is non-traditional in hip-hop circles, Monsters of Folk, Joanna Newsom & Dirty Projectors are in there as well as the more obvious John Legend.
Let’s hope this album sees them hit the road to Oz again so we can see The Roots live once more
