Occupied Hungary 1944. Hitler’s ‘Final Solution’ is sweeping through Europe. Wealthy Jewish couple the Krauzenbergs, desperate to save their family, make a deal with ‘the devil himself’, in exchange for all they own they will receive safe passage to Palenstine and avoid the death camps and certain death. A detailed security check is to take place on all their employees, including their maid and valet, Hans and Ingrid Vassman.
