Chow meets Li-zhen, a neighbour whose husband is often away on business trips. As his wife is also often away from home, Chow spends more and more in Li-zhen’s company. They become friends… drawn to each other. They are uncertain of how to react until the day they discover their respective spouses are having an affair.
