One sultry summer’s day, a troupe of itinerant actors arrive in a sleepy seaside town, led by their star actor, Komajuro. But Komajuro has a history in this town: it is where his former lover, Oyoshi, lives with their teenaged son, Kiyoshi. After seeing Komajuro with Oyoshi, his lover Sumiko is struck by jealousy. To exact her revenge, Sumiko arranges to have a pretty young actress seduce Kiyoshiwith disastrous results.
